So my new years resolution if to spell correctly. Believe it or not I used to be really great at spelling, than after I learned Spanish and went to Spain on a mission, I haven't been able to write or spell without spellcheck. So I really am smarter then it appears. . . Landon would beg to differ, but anyway, that is my new resolution and to read a new book this year, fiction ad one non fiction. Any suggestions. My other goal is to be more oen about myself to people and not hide behind the door or conversation. i guess it's time to feel comfortable in my own skin for once, se here it goes, 2009 watch out.

Hi Tara!
Book suggestions -- I was reading the Jodi Piccoult books, recommended by a friend. They are all fiction, but each is based on contemporary issues ie. moral dilemma sorts of things. I enjoyed the ones I read, but the library kept being out of them, so I moved onto another author that was close by on the shelf, but got bored with her. I just read Message in a Bottle from same author as Notebook (which I would not read because apparently it's about an affair -- um, no thanks) and that was pretty good except for one part that I won't give away.
Want to know what I'm reading now? "The Good Fight". By Harry Reid. I know, I know, shoot me now. My daughter gave it to Lloyd for Christmas and we were dumbfounded. We cannot stand the man! We thought about trading it at the bookstore, but then I decided to read it and find out more about this man I cannot stand that represents our state! So far it is interesting, though, even if I still think he's deluded and has outstanding reasons for things, but then makes these big logic jumps and gets off track easily. [/end political rant]
Miss you!
Leslie
